Ms. Fernandez is the first Latina Partner at Sanchez Daniels & Hoffman LLP. She has served as trial counsel for several clients in a variety of areas of law, including transportation, trucking, construction negligence, automobile, premises and matters involving Federal Employment Liability Act (FELA).

Ms. Fernandez has gained extensive litigation experience which includes 25 jury trials to verdict, several bench trials, arbitration hearings and participation in alternative dispute resolution. Her trial experience has earned her a position as Chair Qualified Arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program.


Ms. Fernandez currently serves on the Board of HLAI Charities, with a primary goal of raising funds for scholarships. She is an active member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC), Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), Chicago Bar Association (CBA), Defense Research Institute (DRI), Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC), Justinian Society, Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois (HLAI) and Kane County Bar Association. Ms. Fernandez is also an active member in the community and volunteers with "Chicago Cares," assisting the growth of the local community.

While in Law School, Ms. Fernandez was elected as the Regional President for the Hispanic National Bar Association, Law Student chapter; elected as President of the Hispanic Law Student Association (HLSA); and served as student committee chair for Latina Lawyers Committee of HLAI.
