Renee Ziolkowski focuses her practice on defending corporate clients in construction liability, premise liability, product liability and toxic tort actions. She has obtained successful results on behalf of those clients through complex motion practice, arbitrations, mediations and trials. She recently obtained a defense verdict in Cook County, Illinois on behalf of a driver that was involved in an automobile accident. The Plaintiff, a professional truck driver, claimed that he sustained permanent injuries as a result of the accident, including the need for a future lumbar fusion. The Plaintiff requested an award of almost three million dollars; however, the jury awarded less than six thousand dollars.

Ms. Ziolkowski has also served as a trial team member representing a major auto manufacturer in toxic tort actions filed in both Illinois and Missouri. In that capacity, she has defended hundreds of cases alleging asbestos exposure, including actions based on product liability and premises liability. Ms. Ziolkowski has conducted numerous depositions throughout the country, argued substantive motions in Cook County, Madison County and the City of St. Louis, and has assisted in preparing matters for trial.

Prior to becoming an attorney, she served as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives where she gained invaluable experience researching various legislative initiatives. Ms. Ziolkowski is fluent in Polish.
