Ms. Vesely's primary focus is defense litigation. She is experienced in pre-trial, trial and post-trial proceedings and concentrates her practice on the defense of product liability, premises liability and toxic tort claims. She defends corporate clients in multimillion-dollar and multi-party litigation. Her practice also encompasses construction litigation defense, personal injury and accident scene investigations. She is responsible for defense strategy and implementation as well as negotiations and alternate dispute resolution including arbitrations and mediation.

 

Recent Experience:
  • Trial team member obtaining not guilty verdict for Ford Motor Company in toxic tort litigation.
  • Trial team member representing McDonald's in a multi-count and multi-party suit alleging ADA and IHRA discrimination violations.
  • Represents major vehicle and machine manufacturers and retailers in catastrophic injury and product liability litigation.
  • Regularly assists in trial preparation by briefing and arguing complex or dispositive motions.
  • Successfully resolved numerous complex litigation matters through mediation.
